Penn Valley Group co-sponsored an educational seminar on pending new legislation, The Employee Free Trade Act. Nationally-known speakers were Jim Redeker and Jonathan Segal of Duane Morris, LLP, along with Penn Valley Group’s Angela Nader and Villanova University’s Dr. David Bush.
Attendees were primarily Human Resources executives and practitioners interested in learning more about pending legislation which would streamline employees ability to union organize without secret ballot elections. The presenters’ provided an overview of trends in union activities over the past decade, an overview of the key legal elements of the pending legislation as well as the practical implications for companies and practitioners.
