Jason Heath, a Partner at Penn Valley Group, offers a strong and diverse background as a senior executive for both large corporations and small businesses, including P & L responsibilities for revenues in excess of $40 million.
Jason’s involvement in mergers and acquisitions included reviewing financial statements, identifying recurring revenue, current and target accounts, preparing presentations to potential acquirers and conducting due diligence. In addition, he has completed return on investment studies for capital improvement and strategic investments.
As director of sales and marketing with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, he developed and implemented strategic sales plans, annual budgets, marketing plans, revenue and expense forecasts and booking goals. He built his extensive strategic business planning skills through his responsibilities for revenue generation, development of rates and rate strategies, group ceilings, online distribution strategies and business review meetings during his ten years with Starwood. He also directed the sales, marketing, public relations, convention services, revenue, and reservations departments.
Jason has completed Six Sigma Green Belt training to identify and remove the causes of defects and errors in business processes using a set of quality management techniques including statistical methods.
As the senior sales and marketing executive with The Sea Pines Corporation he worked collaboratively with the PGA Tour and the Heritage Classic Foundation to host the Verizon Heritage on Harbour Town Golf Links. This responsibility included coordinating with CBS executives to ensure positive exposure for The Sea Pines Resort, Sea Pines Real Estate Company, and Harbour Town.
Jason has served as the Chairman of the Hilton Head Island Group Sales Cooperative and a Board of Governance member for Hilton Head Island Travel Partner Alliance. He is actively involved in the community coaching youth sports while living on Hilton Head Island with his wife Angie and their three sons, Bailey, Tyler and Noah.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina.
