Before we can craft the solution, we conduct a comprehensive Strategic Assessment including one-on-one interviews, workshops, and external analysis to understand and identify challenges and validate business objectives. We also assess the current state versus the desired state and establish measurable goals. This thorough review of your operating environment includes assessing people, processes, systems, tools, metrics and management routines. As a deliverable of Phase 1, you will receive a Gap Analysis, complete with recommendations on how to close those gaps identified and achieve your goals.
Once we identify the issues and agree on the objectives, we create the plan to achieve them. Think of the Solution Design as an improved operating model for your organization. Developed within a proprietary PVG Solution Design Framework, we apply output from the assessment phase, overlay best practices knowledge, and develop a customized, actionable project plan. Of course, your approval is essential to ensure alignment with organizational goals, and practical feasibility within your operating environment.
Let the building begin! Upon approval of the plan, we create the actual infrastructure to support the new model. Model Development includes process improvements, supporting tools and systems enhancements, new or revised metrics, management routines, training programs and a transition plan to ensure effective change management. Client participation ensures that the new model is practical and adaptable to your organization.
Implementation & Execution
Unlike some consultants who may walk away once the new model is created, we work with you to ensure proper Implementation & Execution. We believe this is the only way to guarantee that things work as well in practice as they do in theory. This process is a collaborative one, ensuring that effective knowledge transfer occurs. In addition to delivering all the elements of the model and the appropriate training, we will assist with new talent acquisition if you need it. Essentially, we put all the tools in place and validate their functionality.
Sustainability & Optimization
Critical to long-term success, Sustainability & Optimization is built on the principle that the best operating models are dynamic. After all, change is inevitable. We conduct periodic audits to evaluate compliance, identify new challenges and influences and recommend enhancements. Or, we can train you and your employees to conduct them independently. This final, but perhaps most important step, ensures that the new model not only adapts to changes in your business, but actually improves over time.
